Airocide devices have been tested by several national and independent laboratories over the past 12 years. Most recent data from a global scientific laboratory demonstrated efficacy against HC0V-229E, an accepted surrogate for SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. Testing demonstrated greater than 2 log reduction of the virus in a 0.54M^3 room within 5 minutes. Full reports are available upon request.
Efficacy Against Coronavirus
The Lumicide disinfecting ribbon was tested against SARS-CoV-2 at CUBRC, a Biosafety Level 3 Lab, resulting in 99.9% viral inactivation in just 5 minutes. The Lumicide disinfecting mirror and disinfecting drain were tested at ResInnova Laboratories, a Biosafety Level 2 Lab, against OC43 human coronavirus, C. diff, E. coli, MRSA and H1N1 showing greater than 99.9% viral inactivation.
